Promotion in Brief

Save up to $1,250 when you trade-in your old desktop laser printer, any brand, any condition, and you purchase a select HP printer between August 1, 2007 and April 30, 2008. Simply complete the trade-in claim form, provide proof of purchase of your new HP printer, and trade-in an old laser printer for recycling within 30 days of purchase for the appropriate cash-back allowance. Additional cash back allowances are available with the purchase of an extra Original HP print cartridge and/or designated HP specialty media. This promotion has a maximum of 400 units that can be purchased and traded in, per customer, so act fast!

This offer may not be combined with other promotional offers or trade-in programs (except HP "instant rebates") and is open to U.S. residents only. HP "instant rebates" may be combined with this offer, however the "Make the Upgrade and Save" (MTUS) rebate is the maximum allowable rebate. Additional monies for any MTUS transaction will be the "net" of the two rebates—the MTUS rebate minus the "instant rebate."

Process Overview

Purchase

Purchase a new HP eligible printer from the list below between August 1, 2007 and April 30, 2008.
Please Note: Leased printers are not eligible.

Claim Form

Complete the online claim form. You will receive a confirmation page and quote number upon submission. Reference your quote number for all questions relating to this promotion. The claim form must be completed within 30 days of purchase.

Proof of Purchase

Send in the proof of purchase showing that the new HP eligible printer was purchased, in order to receive the next steps for shipping. The proof of purchase must be received no later than 30 days from date of purchase.

Shipping Instructions

Once your claim and proof of purchase is received by HP's promotion headquarters, shipping instructions for your trade-in product will be sent electronically. Trade-in products must be shipped within 30 days from receipt of shipping instructions.

Trade-in Products

You may trade in any HP or non-HP laser printer. HP pays for the recycling, and the laser printer does not have to be in working condition.

Cash Back

Once your trade-in documentation is verified, allow 6 - 8 weeks from the time your trade-in claim is complete to get your cash-back check. Completion of claim includes receipt of proof of purchase and product.
