ABOUT
DANKA
Danka in the Community
Our Philosophy
Danka strives to support programs that improve the social, health and educational well-being of the markets and communities we serve. Our decision to participate and our level of participation in not-for-profit programs is market-based and focused on programs and/or organizations where tenured Danka employees and customers have invested personal equity, whether it is their time or their money.
Danka supports and encourages employee involvement in the community. We recognize the importance of being involved in the community, the sacrifice that may be involved, and the benefits of giving back to the community, whether personally or professionally.
Using established sponorship criteria, a Danka employee committee evaluates requests for volunteers, goods, services and/or financial support. Funds are paid directly to the requesting organization and are limited to educational initiatives and non-profit organizations (qualified to receive charitable contributions under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code). Organizations must justify funding and reapply each year, they will not be renewed automatically.
The Danka Community Relations Committee meets on a quarterly basis (4 times per fiscal year) to review donation requests on the following schedule:
